ELEMENTS

In a world full of established standards, using familiar tools and resources, how can we break away from the familiar and consistently create something previously unknown? What are the ways of seeing the same material from different perspectives?

Elements is a project dedicated to experimenting with a material and its distinctive qualities, exploring how it can be incorporated as an autonomous element within a spatial structure. This project involves the transformation of plastic into a window that departs from the conventional appearance of an ordinary window. Both the use of the material and the window as an object are reinterpreted. The window not only regulates the ingress of light and the view of the observer, but also becomes the subject of observation itself.

This project is an exploration of pushing the boundaries of common usage, challenging existing concepts and presenting a new perspective on the integration of plastic as long lasting architectural element.
