INBETWEEN 01
The project Inbetween 01 takes form as an experimental installation exploring how subtle shifts in light and movement can transform the experience of a space. Inspired by the ever-changing patterns of natural phenomena, the work uses reshaped transparent acrylic, projected light, and air movement to create an evolving interplay of reflections and shadows. The work explores how the underlying qualities of the gentle, ever-changing patterns found in nature, can be translated into a spatial intervention.
Suspended within the space, the installation responds to the movement of air and people, allowing light to wander across surrounding surfaces in patterns that are never quite the same. Its movement is neither motorised nor precisely controlled; instead, it responds to the activity around it, creating a delicate balance between intentional composition and unpredictability.
At the intersection of material experimentation, light, and spatial perception, this project explores how a small intervention can alter our awareness of our surroundings. The installation invites a slower, more attentive way of looking. It offers the possibility of a brief pause and quiet wonder within everyday movement, allowing something as ordinary as light on a wall to become an unexpected experience.
