This project forms the second phase of a partial renovation of a 1960s countryside residence. The existing bathroom, characterised by an open layout, limited storage, and undersized washbasins, has been reconfigured to provide a more generous and private environment suited to contemporary needs.
The new bathroom is organised into two distinct zones to ensure a clear separation of functions and enhance privacy. The architectural language of the existing space is subtly echoed in the custom built-in furniture. A dialogue between old and new creates a coherent design narrative, introducing contemporary detailing and materials.
The project incorporates bespoke furniture, a custom-designed washbasin, and carefully considered detailing, complemented by a refined selection of materials that brings coherence and continuity to the overall design.
